With the development of infrared air-to-air missiles, the infrared optical material monocrystalline silicon has been widely used. Introduced the single crystal silicon material processing lens process, focusing on the study of the polishing technology of silicon lens, through the use of different polishing powder and polishing mould layer materials, to find the processing of silicon lens of the best process matching conditions. Experimental results show that: the use of sio2 colloid formulated polishing solution (PH10-11) and with the polishing cloth known as the polishing mould, the surface defects of the parts polished by mechanochemical methods to reach level III, and can be controlled by modifying the polishing mould aperture as well as the aperture of the error, the processing of the silicon lens to meet the requirements of the missile optical system. With the development of advanced infrared air-to-air missiles, a variety of crystalline materials have been widely used, the most widely used infrared optical materials when the number of
silicon (Si) and germanium (Ge), which have a metallic luster, hard and brittle, high refractive index, dispersion is small, opaque in the visible wavelengths, but in the infrared wavelengths (3 ~ 5 microns) has a good transmittance rate, is widely used in infrared missile optical systems.
